Marcella White (November 22, 1941 - March 14, 2007) Marcella White was born to the union of Howard and Katherin Jennings on November 22nd 1941, she was the fifth of eight children, and was proceeded in death by her (father) Howard Jennings, (brother) William (buddy) Jennings and (sister) Sally Ann Brown. She was united in marriage to Ellis McCory White on April 28th 1962. And to that union was born three children Damon (Peter) White, Paris Delon White, And Chenitta Monik White. Marcella graduated from Eastern High School in 1960 and went on to the University of Detroit and obtain a Bachelor Degree in Substance Drug Abuse, she also obtained an Associate Degree in Mental Health. She was later very proud and honored to work with The Michigan Veteran Foundation Center for over nine years. Marcella accepted Christ at a very early age and later became a member of New Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she worshiped for over twenty years. Marcella departed this life on Wednesday March 14th 2007 at home in the loving care of her family. She leaves behind her beloved mother Katherin Jennings, (husband) Ellis White, (children) Damon, Paris (spouse) Patricia, Chenitta, (spouse) Keith, sisters Roselee Green (husband) Wilfred, Starr Hall (husband) Council, Colleen Jennings, Brothers Howard Jennings, Floyd Jennings, twenty-three Grand Children, four Great Grand Children, One God sister Henrietta Brown, Step Daughters Elisa White, Alishia Crowfield, a very special Grand Son Nicholas White and a host of many Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and Friends. |
